About the event
Calling all curious kids ages 6–12! The Junior Farmers Immersion Workshops are back with a juicy new theme: Fruit and Pollination!
This full-day, hands-on adventure dives into how fruits grow and the amazing pollinators—like bees and butterflies—that make it all possible. Through guided educational activities, kids will explore the connection between plants, pollinators, and the food we eat.
Drop-off begins at 8:30 AM, and the day starts with farm-themed yoga at 9:00 AM to get everyone moving. From there, participants will rotate through interactive learning stations, explore orchards or gardens (if available), and take part in fun, fruit-themed games and crafts.
Snacks and lunch will be provided by The Longhorn Smokehouse, keeping young farmers fueled throughout the day.
The workshop ends at 3:30 PM, with pick-up between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM.
