About the event
Calling all young animal lovers ages 6–12! The Junior Farmers Immersion Workshops are back with a feathered focus—Poultry! This full-day, interactive experience teaches kids all about raising chickens and other poultry, exploring their role in food production, animal care, and sustainable farming. Kids will get simulated hands-on with activities like egg collection, coop care, and feeding routines, while learning fun facts about different poultry breeds.
We’re thrilled to welcome a special guest poultry farmer who will lead an engaging session, offering real-life insights and a chance to interact with live birds.
Drop-off begins at 8:30 AM, and the day starts with farm-themed yoga at 9:00 AM. Participants will then rotate through learning stations and farmyard experiences, paired with fun poultry-themed crafts and games. Snacks and lunch will be provided by The Longhorn Smokehouse, keeping everyone energized and ready to learn. The workshop ends at 3:30 PM, with pick-up between 3:30 PM…
